The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is searching for a new bowling coach as the board is reportedly dissatisfied with the performance of the current coach.

According to sources, former Pakistan fast bowler Umar Gul has emerged as a strong candidate for the role. Former Australian fast bowler Shaun Tait is also in the running.

Sources indicate that BCB is looking to replace the current bowling coach, Andre Adams. Reports suggest that the board is not satisfied with Adams' performance. The former New Zealand pacer is under contract until February 2026.

It is worth noting that Umar Gul has prior coaching experience with the Pakistan national team and has also served as Afghanistan’s bowling coach. Meanwhile, Shaun Tait has previously worked as the bowling coach for the Pakistan cricket team.
