Pacers are yet to feature in tri-series in New Zealand
Pakistan pacers Naseem Shah and Mohammad Hasnain were diagnosed with a viral infection and didn't play in any of the two matches Men in Green have played so far in the ongoing tri-nation series in New Zealand.
According to reports, the condition of Naseem has improved while Hasnain is on complete rest. Naseem participated in the net session today (Sunday) and yesterday without the participation of any other player in it in line with COVID-19 safety protocols. He recently recovered from coronavirus.
On the other hand, the Men in Green took a day off from practice after the game against New Zealand. The practice session is scheduled for Monday and on Tuesday, they will play the Blackcaps.
Remember, Pakistan has bagged two straight win in the tri-series. They defeated Bangladesh in the series opener by 21 runs followed by win over New Zealand by six wickets.
Today, New Zealand claimed a comfortable win over Bangladesh by eight wickets.
