Usman Khan achieved a remarkable feat in the Pakistan Super League by smashing an outstanding century against Islamabad United on Sunday in Rawalpindi.
This stellar performance allowed him to match the PSL record for the most hundreds in the league's history. With three centuries in just 14 PSL innings, Usman Khan now shares this record with Kamran Akmal, who took 74 innings to achieve the same milestone.
During the aforementioned match, the powerful batsman displayed his prowess by scoring an unbeaten 100 not out from 50 balls. This exceptional innings included an impressive tally of 15 fours and three sixes, showcasing his aggressive and dominating style of play.
Notably, this century marked Usman's second in the current PSL season, following his unbeaten 106 against Karachi Kings the previous Sunday. His consistent and impactful performance helped Multan a mammoth total of 228/4, which is the highest of this season.
The Karachi-born batter also holds the record for the quickest century in the league by scoring a ton in just 36 balls against Quetta Gladiators in PSL 8.
