For any cricketer, the utmost sign of respect is when the opposition stands on their feet to applaud your brilliance.

Although these instances are few and far between but Usman Khawaja, a player who has deep-rooted ties with Pakistan, received a standing ovation from the fans in Karachi Stadium after he was dismissed by Sajid Khan on 160.

After showing resistance for 369 balls, the left-handed batter was finally bamboozled as Sajid Khan delivered a quick one which spun and went on to hit the stumps.

As Usman Khawaja was making his way back to the pavilion, the crowd rose to their feet and cheered the Pakistan-born as he made his way back to the pavilion.

The chants of "Khawaja, Khawaja" echoed the stadium which made it a special moment not only for the player but for everyone as it showcased the amount of love the Pakistan crowd has for the game.
