Left-arm pacer Usman Shinwari is back with Karachi Kings as a replacement for young pacer Mohammad Ilyas, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced after HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) technical committee approved.
The 22-year-old Ilyas was ruled out for the remainder of HBL PSL 7 after he had a severe shoulder injury in the match against Lahore Qalandars on January 30 but despite it, he came back after receiving treatment to bowl two overs in the lmatch.

"MRIs have confirmed the worst and he has been advised rest for the next six weeks and shall be leaving for his home in Peshawar tomorrow evening," the Kings said in a statement yesterday.
It must be noted that Ilyas played all three matches for Kings this season. On the other hand, Shinwari will join the Kings immediately as he is part of players who are in managed isolation.
Shinwari has previously represented Kings from 2017-2019.
