Pakistan is in a spot of bother in the second Test against Australia at the National Stadium in Karachi.

The hosts are battling hard to save the Test as the Aussies have asked them to chase 506 in the final two days of the Test.

Pakistan lost Imam-ul-Haq early and all eyes were on veteran Azhar Ali to produce a miracle. The 37-year-old managed to survive with Abdullah Shafique till Lunch and the intentions were clear that Pakistan are playing for a draw.

However, straight after the second session, Azhar departed in a very bizarre manner. The right-hander tried to duck a short ball bowled by Cameron Green that kept low and was given LBW by the umpire.

Azhar consulted with Abdullah regarding a review but could not decide before the time ran out and had to take the long walk back to the pavilion.

Azhar took his eyes off the ball while ducking and it hit him in front of the middle stump. He batted for 54 balls and scored only six.

After he walked back, the replay confirmed a spike on the ultra edge that the ball hit on his glove but Azhar was reluctant to take a review as Imam-ul-Haq had already wasted one on the previous dismissal.

It must be noted that Azhar made a brilliant 185 in the first Test of the series in Rawalpindi.
