The team’s physiotherapist immediately attended to Kohli, applying a spray and wrapping a bandage around the affected area. Despite experiencing mild discomfort, the Indian team’s coaching staff has downplayed the injury, calling it a minor issue.
Kohli remained at the ICC Academy practice session after the incident, indicating that the injury may not be severe. However, his condition will be closely monitored ahead of the high-stakes final.
