Virat Kohli has made history by becoming the first player to score 3000 runs in ICC Men’s World Cup tournaments, which includes both ODI and T20I matches. 

Kohli reached this milestone during his 37-run innings against Bangladesh in the T20 World Cup match. He showed his excellent batting skills, hitting 37 runs from 28 balls, with four boundaries and three sixes, at a strike rate of 132.14.

Kohli is the top run-scorer in T20 World Cup history, with 1,207 runs in 32 matches, averaging 63.52 runs per match with a strike rate of 129.78. In this tournament, he has scored 66 runs in five matches, with an average of 13.20 and a strike rate of 108.19, with his best score being 37.

In the 50-over World Cup, Kohli is also very successful. He is the second-highest run-scorer in the tournament's history, with 1,795 runs in 37 matches, averaging 59.83 runs per match with a strike rate of 88.20. He has scored five centuries and twelve half-centuries, with his highest score being 117.
