The match, heavily impacted by rain, was heading toward a draw after only minimal action on the first day and no play for two days. However, India’s aggressive second-innings batting, led by a rapid run rate of 8.22, saw them declare at 285/8, setting a challenging lead of 52 runs. Bangladesh's batting collapsed, managing just 146 in their second innings, leaving India a target of 95 runs. Yashasvi Jaiswal’s half-century (51) guided India to a comfortable victory.
