Iqbal believes the Indian captain will struggle to handle the 17-year-old’s pace and swing
Former Pakistan cricketer Faisal Iqbal believes Indian captain Virat Kohli will turn out to be rookie pacer Naseem Shah’s bunny, when the duo gets an opportunity to square off against each other.
Faisal, while quoting a tweet related to Naseem’s recent statement on Kohli, said that the Indian captain will struggle to handle the 17-year-old’s pace and swing.
“With due respect to Virat as a great batsman I am sure our upcoming superstar fast bowler Naseem Shah with genuine pace and swing, Virat will be his bunny anytime! Looking forward to the future battle,” Faisal tweeted.

The rookie pacer, in a recent interview to PakPassion.net, said that he respects Kohli but is not scared of him.
“I hope that I can bowl well against India when that chance comes by and won’t let our fans down,” he said. “As for Virat Kohli, I respect him but don’t fear him. It’s always a challenge to bowl to the best, but that’s where you have to raise your game. I look forward to playing against Virat Kohli and India whenever that chance comes.”
Naseem has made an eventful start to his international career which includes being the youngest fast-bowler to take a five-wicket haul, in the Test series against Sri Lanka, while also becoming the youngest bowler to take a Test hat-trick, in the series against Bangladesh.
