Wahab is likely to be tasked with managing matters related to Champions events
Former Pakistan fast bowler Wahab Riaz is expected to take on key responsibilities in the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) once again, as reported by a local sports channel.
According to sources, Wahab is likely to be tasked with managing matters related to Champions events. This would mark another significant role for the cricketer-turned-administrator, who has previously served as a member of the national selection committee and as a senior manager for the Pakistan team.
During his international cricket career, the 39-year-old represented Pakistan in 27 Test matches, claiming 83 wickets, as well as in 91 ODIs with 120 wickets, and 36 T20Is where he took 34 wickets.
Wahab’s extensive experience as a player and his previous administrative roles make him a valuable asset for the PCB, particularly as they prepare for high-profile international events.
