Latif also recalled the time when he first watched Pakistan captain bat
Rashid Latif, the former Pakistani cricketer, tries to imitate Babar Azam’s batting style through his hand gestures while watching the Pakistan captain bat.
During a local cricket show on Saturday, the host revealed Latif's imitation of Pakistan captain, to which the veteran cricketer responded by expressing his desire for a Gray-nicholls bat.
"I want Gray-Nicolls bat for that," Latif said.
Gray-Nicolls is a well-known brand in the world of cricket, and Babar Azam happens to be one of its brand ambassadors. His partnership with Gray-Nicolls has been a fruitful one, with the brand providing him with some of the best cricket bats available in the market.
Latif also recalled the time when he first watched Pakistan captain bat.
"Babar was going to West Indies with Under-15 team, when I watched him for the first time. At that time, I was hired as a wicketkeeping coach by PCB. I watched him batting in the nets and Shoaib [Akhtar] was bowling fast in the nets. Babar was little but the way he was playing, I could see that he would turn into a big player in future," he said.
