Australian opening batter David Warner has been warned by the umpire Ahsan Raza in a deliberate attempt to run on the danger area of the pitch during the first session of Day Four of the third Test against Pakistan.

The left-handed batter has a history of making attempts of playing unfair; He was suspended for 12 months for being involved in a ball-tampering attempt in 2018 at Cape Town against South Africa.

In 2019, Aleem Dar also awarded five penalty runs against Australia after Warner was deliberately running on the danger area of the pitch.

In first session of Day Four of the third Test, David Warner was batting out of his crease and stepping on the red zone of the surface when umpires warned him to avoid stepping in the danger area. Warner instantly reacted by saying:

“Where else do you want me to run?” Warner said in despair to umpire.

Things got heated in the middle as Usman Khwaja, and other Pakistan players gathered together to discuss the matter. It was clearly seen on TV that the Australian batters started arguing and were indeed not pleased with the warning.

The commentators and viewers had a mixed reaction to the incident, as it is natural for a batter to take a few steps after playing the ball. But, since Warner has a history of playing unfair using cheap tricks to manipulate the condition of the pitch and ball in the past, there was zero tolerance shown by the umpires.
