Wasim Akram remains one of the best - if not the best - left-arm pacers in history. Commonly referred to as Sultan of Swing, Akram rolled back the years as he dismissed Michael Atherton with a sublime delivery during a charity match organised for Shane Warne.

Former England captain Michael Atherton was at the crease as Brain Lara was on the non-strikers' end. Akram, with a short run-up, delivered a pitch-perfect yorker and disturbed the timber.

Akram celebrated the dismissal in style as his teammates came in to congratulate the left-arm pacer. The video has gone viral on various social media platforms.

In response, Wasim Akram later shared his thoughts on his official Twitter account. "Sorry @Athersmike we might get older but some things will stay the same," he wrote.

The match was held for a charity in the memory of the late Shane Warne, who passed away recently while on a vacation in Thailand.

The match featured some of the greatest players to have graced the game; Wasim Akram, Brain Lara, former England women's captain Charlotte Edwards alongside Ian Bell, Monty Panesar, Atherton, Neil Johnson, commentator Mark Nicholas and Rajasthan Royals co-owner Manoj Badale with the two-time World Cup-winning captain Clive Llyod fulfilling the role of an umpire.
