Former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram has slammed the National Stadium pitch conditions following the conclusion of the first T20I match between Pakistan and England.

England registered a comprehensive six-wicket victory as Pakistan batted first and put 159 runs on the board.

The loss brought upon more criticism from the fanbase regarding the condition of the pitch from Wasim Akram.

"This is a 20-over match but it looks like we have been playing on this pitch for the last 7 days," stated Akram.

It is worth mentioning that the first four matches of the seven-match T20I series are to be played at National Stadium Karachi whereas the remaining three games will be moved to Lahore.

Pakistan are currently 1-0 down in the series and faces England in the second game tomorrow.
