A combination of magic spray from the New Zealand physio and a compression bandage, however, helped the umpire return to the middle to fulfil his duties.
“That always helps. The crowd are loving it. They see the magic spray on this ground a lot for football,” commentator Adam Gilchrist joked after the incident.
