WATCH: Asif Ali and Fareed Ahmed’s intense exchange

During the 2022 Asia Cup Super Four match between Afghanistan and Pakistan, batter Asif Ali and Afghan bowler Fareed Ahmed had a bitter moment on the pitch after the former was dismissed in the 19th over. 

Before his dismissal, Asif had hit two sixes, one of which was on Ahmed’s delivery. Asif turned out to be a promising player in yesterday’s match for Pakistan. 

The two cricketers were seen involved in an intense exchange after Ahmed made an angry gesture at Asif on his dismissal. 

In viral video, Asif can be seen getting aggressive as a response to what Ahmed said, due to which he angrily raises his bat at the pacer.

Soon after, the Umpires and Afghanistan players intervened and separated the two.
 
The viral video has been making rounds on social media since the match, and fans from both ends have been speculating what it was that Fareed Ahmed could have said to Asif Ali.
