After defeating New Zealand in the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG), Pakistan is preparing for the World Cup final match against England on Sunday at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

In the semi-final, the Men in Green chased down a 153-run target with seven wickets in hand. The opening pair of Babar and Mohammad Rizwan each scored half-centuries to help their team cross the line with five balls to spare.

As the World Cup final is near, Team Pakistan took to the practice session, where fans witnessed an exciting turn of events.

In terms of Babar Azam's performance in the 2022 T20 World Cup, the Pakistan captain struggled in the early games before hitting a 42-ball-53 against New Zealand in the semi-finals. Rizwan, his opening partner, also scored 57 runs off 43 balls.

In the tournament, left-arm pacer Shaheen Afridi has impressed with his pace. Shaheen has taken ten wickets at an economy rate of 14.20 and conceded 142 runs in six matches.

On the other hand, England stormed into the tournament final after thrashing India by ten wickets in the second semi-final on Thursday.
