Pakistan's white-ball skipper, Babar Azam, is leaving no stone unturned as he prepares for the upcoming two-match Test series against Bangladesh.

The team, led by Shan Masood, has reunited with a strong focus on making a comeback as they prepare for their first Test series since January, determined to perform well against Bangladesh.

In a recent training session, a video surfaced online showing Babar Azam being struck in the groin while batting in the nets bowled by Khurram Shahzad.

The impact caused him considerable discomfort, but after taking a moment to recover and doing some stretches, he resumed his practice.

Shortly after, Babar was bowled out by Khurram Shahzad with an unplayable delivery, further highlighting the intensity of the practice sessions.

For Babar Azam, this Test series presents a critical opportunity to refocus on his batting under Shan Masood's leadership.

Since 2022, Babar has struggled in Tests, with his last fifty over a year ago. In 2023, he averaged just 20.60, with a top score of 41 against Australia.

The upcoming series against Bangladesh is part of the ongoing World Test Championship 2023-2025 circle.

The first Test will take place at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium starting August 21, followed by the second Test at the National Stadium in Karachi on August 30.
