Pakistan skipper Babar Azam met with legendary Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar in the USA. The Men in Green arrived in Dallas on Saturday (June 1) to begin their preparations for the upcoming tournament.
Gavaskar, who is also in the USA for his role as a commentator with the broadcast team, took the opportunity to connect with Azam.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) shared a video on their official X handle, capturing the friendly interaction between the two cricket icons.
In the video, Babar and Gavaskar can be seen shaking hands and engaging in a pleasant conversation, showcasing the camaraderie between the cricketing greats.
Pakistan's journey begins in Dallas, where they will take on co-host USA on June 6, followed by matches against India on June 9 and Canada on June 12 in New York. Their final league match against Ireland is slated for June 16 in Florida.
