Pakistan Shaheens came out victorious in the final of the ACC Emerging Team's Asia Cup 2023 for the second time in a row at the R Premadasa stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on Sunday.
To celebrate the win, Pakistan's captain Babar Azam and his team gave the younger team a warm welcome and arranged a dinner for them. Babar had a small chat with Shaheens during the dinner and motivated them to be ready for the upcoming challenges.
"It was your belief that led you to the victory. This is just the beginning, not the end. Celebrate this victory but don't become overexcited about it. There is always a new challenge waiting for you out there; prepare yourself for that," Babar said.

The 28-year-old encouraged the younger lads to evaluate their own performance as it will help them prosper better in the field of play.
"Just go, watch and analyze your performance. Be your own teacher; it will help you grow more. Don't be satisfied as I already said that it's not an end. Overcome your weaknesses and be ready for the next challenges," he further added.
Going head-to-head against India A, Pakistan Shaheens gave a comprehensive performance from beginning to end. Saim Ayub and Sahibzada Farhan's half-centuries and a stunning 71-ball century by Tayyab Tahir played a pivotal role in Pakistan Shaheens' win.
