WATCH: Babar Azam's new willow for England series

Gray-Nicolls has revealed the new bat that Pakistan captain Babar Azam will use in the home test series against England and New Zealand later this year.

The company uploaded a brief video of Babar's bat on its social media platform on Friday.

Gray-Nicolls announced the addition of Babar to their international player roster in December 2020.

Commenting on his signing, Richard Gray, Sales and Marketing Director for Gray-Nicolls, said: “We are delighted to welcome Babar Azam to Gray-Nicolls and excited to have one of the best players in the world use the brand. We’re looking forward to seeing his continued success up close.”

Aside from Babar, Gray-Nicolls' current brand ambassadors include Mohammad Rizwan, Shan Masood, and Kane Williamson.

The England Test team is scheduled to arrive in Islamabad on November 27 as per the previously announced program. Due to the possible long march of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, the visiting team's schedule is also being re-evaluated. 

In this regard, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is waiting for the government's advice. According to plan B, the first Test can be played in Karachi, the second in Multan, and the third Test again in Karachi.
