Pakistan's bowlers had a challenging day during the third day of the four-day match against the Australian Prime Minister’s XI. Despite their efforts, they managed to secure only two wickets on Friday.

The PM's XI, starting the day at 149-2 in response to Pakistan's 391-9 in Canberra, continued their strong performance, concluding the day at 367-4 after 141 overs.

One of the wickets came courtesy of Pakistan’s Mir Hamza’s stunning catch, which led to the dismissal of Nathan McSweeney on the bowling of Imam-ul-Haq.

In the meantime, Matt Renshaw, nearing his fifty, achieved the milestone in an unexpected manner.

While batting at 47 against Abrar Ahmed, Renshaw executed a superb on-drive. However, a fielder managed to stop the ball and threw it back to Babar Azam. In a hasty attempt, Azam threw the ball towards the keeper, Sarfaraz Ahmed. Unfortunately, the throw bounced just inches ahead of Sarfaraz and ended up going for four runs, granting Renshaw seven runs.

Renshaw eventually reached his fifty in 136 balls, with the assistance of Pakistan's sloppy fielding.
