WATCH: Bollywood actress names Naseem Shah as favourite Pakistani cricketer

Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela has once again made headlines after naming young Pakistan right-arm pacer Naseem Shah as her favorite cricketer. A video of the actress responding to the question while walking the red carpet at the IIFA 2024 event has gone viral on social media.

In the video, Rautela was asked about her favorite player from the Pakistan cricket team, to which she replies, "They have a good team. Naseem is good." Her remark reignited social media discussions about her long-standing admiration for the 20-year-old fast bowler.

This is not the first time Rautela has expressed her admiration for Naseem Shah. Last year, she made headlines when she wished the cricketer a happy birthday and congratulated him on being honored with an honorary DSP rank.

While Naseem thanked her through social media, he later clarified in an interview that he personally does not manage his social media accounts and had no idea his team responded on his behalf.

In May this year, Rautela once again sparked a social media debate when she shared a fan-made video featuring herself and Naseem Shah on her Instagram, further fueling speculation about their interactions.
