Haider Ali played a cameo of 15-ball 31 runs in the final of tri-nation series against New Zealand

Pakistan in today's final of the tri-nation series defeated New Zealand by five wickets after chasing down the target of 164 runs with three balls remaining at the Hagley Oval stadium at Christchurch.
Haider Ali, who was consistently failing to perform well in the middle order, played a cameo of 31 runs from 15 deliveries, smacking three fours and two huge sixes.

After the game, Haider Ali shared his views on today's cameo innings after not being able to perform during past matches.
"At that time our run rate exceeded to 11 runs per over, Mohammad Nawaz while he was batting conveyed me to hit from his side, so with took that game according to our stretegy and by the grace of Allah we created a match-winning partnership which turned this chase of 164 runs easy for us," Haider said.
"It was our plan because whenever we needed boundaries, Alhamdulillah we got it and because of this our score maintained," he added.
"This innings has boosted my morale going into the T20 World Cup. Overall, I would like to thank the management, captain and our teammates who gained confidence in me, as well as I, would like to thank my family who supported me in every matter which is why I was able to perform well," Haider Ali said.
As the T20 world cup is about to commence this month in Australia, the 22-year-old said, "Looking forward for the world cup and InShaAllah, we are prepared and will take forward our middle-order pair to give their best in the mega-event."
