WATCH: Haris Rauf celebrates his 31st birthday with teammates

Pakistan’s fast bowler Haris Rauf celebrated his 31st birthday with a big win over Australia, as Pakistan claimed a commanding nine-wicket victory in the second ODI at Adelaide Oval on Friday. 

Following the match, Rauf and the rest of the Pakistan team gathered at the hotel for a cake-cutting ceremony, marking both the victory and his special day.

Rauf’s stellar performance on the field added even more joy to the celebrations. His impressive bowling spell, taking 5 wickets for just 29 runs in eight overs, played a major role in restricting Australia to a low total of 163 runs. With the bat, Pakistan chased down the target easily, losing only one wicket and reaching the target with 141 balls to spare, leveling the three-match series at 1-1.

Team manager Naveed Akram Cheema congratulated Rauf and extended his best wishes, while teammates Kamran Ghulam and Naseem Shah praised his impactful performance, appreciating his dedication and skill.

With the series now tied, Pakistan and Australia will head to Perth for the decisive third ODI on November 10, where Pakistan will look to carry their momentum and secure a series victory.
