In a thrilling encounter in the 19th match of the Global T20 Canada 2024, Kaleem Sana delivered a standout performance, securing a hat-trick and leading the Montreal Tigers to a decisive seven-wicket victory against the Toronto Nationals.

The highlight of the first innings was undoubtedly Kaleem’s exceptional bowling. He dismantled the Nationals’ batting lineup with a stunning hat-trick, starting with his first wicket on the fifth ball of the second over. Kaleem Sana bowled Unmukt Chand, who managed to score only two runs off seven balls.

On the very next delivery, Kaleem Sana struck again and clean-bowled Roston Chase for a golden duck. Sana completed his hat-trick on the first ball of the third over by dismissing Mohammad Nawaz, who was caught by Aayan Khan after scoring just one run off four balls.

Kaleem’s three-over spell was remarkable, taking four wickets for just 13 runs and boasting an impressive economy rate of 4.30. His disciplined bowling, combined with Azmatullah Omarzai's contribution of taking wickets and conceding 22 runs in his four overs at an economy rate of 5.50, restricted the Nationals to a total of 52 runs in 11.1 overs.

Chasing a target of 53 runs, the Montreal Tigers made a mockery of the Nationals’ bowling attack. They reached the target in 11.3 overs, finishing with a score of 56 for the loss of three wickets. The Tigers’ batting lineup showed resilience and composure, ensuring a smooth chase.

The Montreal Tigers clinched the match by seven wickets. Kaleem Sana’s outstanding bowling earned him the Man of the Match award.
