The left-arm pacer went wicketless in his four-over spell
The luck was not with Pakistan’s left-arm pacer Mohammad Irfan on Monday as he received a blow to his head during the match between Dhaka Platoon and Rajshahi Royals in the ongoing season of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
The 37-year-old pacer was looking the other way when his Rajshahi teammate Andre Russell threw the ball towards him. Irfan was unaware that the ball was already in the air as he looked towards Russell to collect the ball. As a result, the ball hit him on his head and Irfan was seen hurt.
