"I was sent up the batting order because of the two overs left for Shakib Al Hasan and I have to counter that, so that was our plan to make it simple in order to chase down the target easily," Mohammad Nawaz said.

Mohammad Nawaz also discussed the dew factor between the ground pitches.
"Today's pitch, as compared to the first two games, was easy, and with the bat, my role was to counter the left-arm spinners and secondly, the run-rate reached 10 per over so it was quite difficult, but in the end, we have to attack and our major goal was to score as many runs in the remaining 2 overs of the left-arm spinners," he added.
"The main role of the all-rounder is to perform with both bat and ball, it grows your confidence and also overcomes the team's expectations and we try to express our skills through our performances," he maintained.
"Obviously, we are motivated because myself and Shadab Khan, we both have to give our all-round performance with the bat and ball, and as far as tomorrow's final match against New Zealand, we are hoping to give our best in the game and win the final match of the tri-nation series," he concluded.
Pakistan will play New Zealand in the final of tri-series tomorrow.
