Pakistan’s ODI captain and wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan accidentally broke fast bowler Naseem Shah’s mobile phone.
During a practice session at the national ODI team’s training camp for the New Zealand tour, Rizwan’s powerful shot struck Naseem Shah’s phone, which was placed in the dressing room, causing it to break.
Naseem was left upset over the broken phone and showed the damaged device to Rizwan.
Currently, nine players from the ODI squad are training at the LCC Ground in preparation for the New Zealand tour. According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the players include captain Mohammad Rizwan, Abdullah Shafique, Babar Azam, Faheem Ashraf, Imam-ul-Haq, Wasim Junior, Naseem Shah, Akif Javed, and Tayyab Tahir.
The national ODI squad will depart for New Zealand via Dubai on the morning of March 23.
Pakistan and New Zealand will face off in a three-match ODI series from March 29 to April 5.
