Pakistan U19 pacer, Ubaid Shah, the talented brother of the national team pace bowler Naseem Shah, stole the limelight in the ongoing Under-19 World Cup match against New Zealand.
Ubaid's jaw-dropping dismissals left spectators in awe as he single-handedly dismantled the top three of the Kiwi batting lineup with a spellbinding exhibition of seam bowling.
Executing a devastating opening spell, Ubaid sent the middle stumps cartwheeling, showcasing his exceptional skills with the new ball. The right-arm sensation has consistently proven himself as one of Pakistan's key performers in the ongoing mega-event, maintaining a remarkable track record that includes a notable four-wicket haul against Afghanistan.
In the latest encounter, Ubaid concluded with impressive figures of 3/30, significantly contributing to New Zealand's dismissal for a mere 139 runs by the Boys in Green.

In the pursuit of their target, opening batters Shahzaib Khan and Shamyl Hussain embraced an assertive strategy, establishing a crucial partnership that enabled them to surpass New Zealand's score without losing a wicket. Ultimately, they secured victory in the 26th over of the game.
Shahzaib Khan played a decisive innings, scoring unbeaten 80 runs off 86 deliveries, featuring ten boundaries and three sixes, with a strike rate of 93.02. Similarly, Shamyl Hussain contributed an unbeaten 54 runs from 66 deliveries, including six boundaries and two sixes, boasting a strike rate of 81.81.
It is worth noting that the 17-year-old is the leading wicket-taker in the ICC U19 World Cup 2024, claiming nine wickets in three matches with an average of 11.55 and an economy rate of 4.33
