Wicketkeeper-batsman remained unbeaten on 100 runs off 159 balls
Wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan’s preparations for the upcoming England Test series are on track, after he scored a century in the Pakistan intra-squad practice match in Derby.
Rizwan remained unbeaten on 100 runs off 159 balls, while playing for Babar Azam-led PCB White.
PCB White declared their second innings on 284/5 and have set PCB Green, led by Test skipper Azhar Ali, a target of 353 in 89 overs.
Babar (58) and Haider Ali (51) notched up half-centuries for PCB White. Although, Fawad Alam, failed to impress, was only able to score three runs.
After his five-wicket haul in the first innings, rookie fast-bowler Naseem Shah was only able to pick up one wicket in the second innings.
Leg-spinner Yasir Shah bagged two wickets, while pacer Mohammad Abbas and all-rounder Faheem Ashraf claimed one wicket each.
