Pakistan’s newest pace sensation Haris Rauf dazzled spectators at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) with an inspired effort of fast-bowling that helped the Melbourne Stars qualify for the final of the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL), after defeating Sydney Thunder by 28 runs at the MCG in Melbourne on Thursday.
The fast-bowler’s exceptional skills were on full display after taking three wickets in four overs while giving away just 17 runs. His three wickets included the wicket of the Sydney Thunder’s captain Callum Ferguson (7), all-rounder Chris Morris (21) and wicketkeeper-batsman Jay Lenton (10).

Rauf has taken 20 wickets from just nine matches so far in the ongoing BBL. He is currently the fourth highest wicket-taker in the season despite missing seven tournament matches.
The Melbourne Stars will now face Sydney Sixers in the final of the ongoing BBL at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) in Sydney on Saturday.
