Pakistan batter Shan Masood has been in red hot form across formats. From scoring heavily in County Championship to T20 Blast, the 32-year-old is among the best batters.
The left-hander is representing Balochistan in the ongoing National T20 Cup and batted at No.4 spot against Central Punjab today.
Shan Masood made 54 with a strike rate of 150, powered by six fours. There have been calls to include Shan Masood in the middle order viewing his splendid form.
Meanwhile, former captain Shahid Afridi appreciated Shan and wants him to let his bat do the talking.
“Really impressed by the determination and dedication of Shan Masood. I have always admired players who are willing to do the hard work in domestic cricket and let their cricket performances talk for them. Keep going strong Shan,” Afridi tweeted.

Here are a few reactions on his performance:
Since the start of 2021, Shan Masood’s SR vs spin is nearly 139 in T20s. In the middle overs (overs 7-16), in the same period, his SR is 142.24. Avg is under 30 in both cases but high averages aren’t needed in the middle phase. So him batting at 4 makes complete sense

Shan Masood not opening for Balochistan is a clear sign that his target is to comeback in the Pakistan team as a middle order batsman. This is an excellent decision by Shan he is trying everything at his end now it's upto the selectors... #NationalT20
