Opener played a 121-run knock from 126 balls, which included 16 fours and three sixes
Opener Sharjeel Khan scored his first century for Sindh in the ongoing season of Quaid-e-Azam (QeA) Trophy against Southern Punjab on Sunday.
This was left-hander’s first hundred in red-ball cricket since his career-best innings of 279 runs against PTV in January 2014.
Sharjeel, who scored five runs in the first innings, played an explosive 121-run knock from 126 balls, which included 16 fours and three sixes.
The Hyderabad-born was dismissed by leg-spinner Zahid Mehmood towards the end of third day, but not before his 130-run partnership with middle-order batsman Saud Shakeel put Sindh into a commanding position.
A maiden #QeA20 100 for @SharjeelLeo14!
