Karachi Kings faced their sixth defeat in HBL PSL 8 in Rawalpindi on Friday, while squaring off against Islamabad United.

Karachi Kings remained dominant in the first half of the game while completely falling apart in the latter half. Kings scored 61 runs in the powerplay after opting to bat first, but three wickets were lost in the process.

Faheem Ashraf dismissed Malik for 12, after the ball slid between his bat and pad as he attempted to play a drive. The veteran all-rounder is going through a rough patch, as he has scored only 46 runs in his last five innings.
The captain of Karachi, Imad Wasim, scored 92 runs in 54 balls, ensuring his team cross 200-run mark. However, a blistering knock by Azam Khan took United over the line.
Karachi, who have now lost six games this season, were in dire need of a victory to maintain their playoff hopes.
