South Africa pacer Anrich Nortje is upbeat ahead of second Test against Pakistan in Rawalpindi, which starts on February 4.

Pakistan won the first Test in Karachi by seven wickets to take a 1-0 lead in the two-match series.

In a video released by Cricket South Africa, the speedster said that the Proteas are focused and ready for the next encounter against the home side.

“We had a good chat after the game [first Test] about what we did good and what we didn’t do too well. We are quite clear on what we want to achieve and how we want to go about things,” said Nortje.

“There are no disturbances from outside and we are focused on what we want to do. Most of the work is done, tomorrow might be an easy day and then we head into the Test match,” he added.

The 27-year-old is also enjoying the weather in Rawalpindi amid the winter season.

“The weather is extremely pleasant which is unbelievable. I think the hottest I have seen on the weather is 18 degrees,” he said.
