"We are ready for Champions Trophy", says Salman Ali Agha

Pakistan cricketer Salman Ali Agha has expressed confidence in Pakistan's preparation for the upcoming Champions Trophy, set to take place in the country.

Speaking to the media in Lahore, Salman stated, "We are ready for the Champions Trophy as we have just completed a long season and have another long season ahead. Our preparation is solid."  

While focusing on the Champions Trophy, Salman emphasized that the upcoming West Indies series remains the immediate priority.  

Talking about the Pakistan Super League (PSL), he said, "We will aim to maintain the performance level we displayed last year. Islamabad United, as defending champions, will face added pressure, but we will try to perform well and win."  

Discussing his individual progress, Salman mentioned improvements in his bowling and readiness to bat at any position. He praised the excitement of playing in international stadiums where fans can see their favorite players up close, adding that it enhances the overall experience.  

Salman also commented on young opener Saim Ayub, who suffered an ankle injury during the second Test against South Africa. "The reports suggest that Saim Ayub will recover before the Champions Trophy. Please pray for his speedy recovery," he concluded.
