Imam-ul-Haq confessed that Test matches played in Rawalpindi and Multan were completely in our hands, but we failed to win
The England Test team, led by Ben Stokes and supervised by head coach Brendon McCullum, made the longer format feel like T20 cricket.
Over the last few months, cricket commentators and fans have been talking about this innovation in the Test format. At the same time, it haunts many supporters of conventional Test cricket's survival.

During his press conference, Imam-ul-Haq confessed that Test matches played in Rawalpindi and Multan were completely in our hands, but we failed to win.
"Test matches in Rawalpindi and Multan were in our hands. Unfortunately, we were unable to execute our plans, which is disappointing," said Imam.
"Pakistan is not losing because England is playing outstanding test cricket. We are losing because of our own mistakes." he maintained.
Imam also compared weather conditions of Karachi and Multan during the media talk, "The weather in Karachi is warmer in comparison to Islamabad and Multan."
In response to a question about the inclusion of T20-style players in the Test squad, as suggested by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ramiz Raja after England defeated Pakistan in the Multan Test, Imam replied it is up to the captain and the chairman.
"There is no opener currently capable to meet the performances of the opening duo of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan in T20."
"We will keep on playing as we do. We lost due to our mistakes, and we admit it. We will try and come up strongly," he reiterated.
Reminder for all is that the third Test between the hosts and the three lions will be played in Karachi from December 17, 2022, to December 21, 2022.
