Pakistan is set to face Ireland in their final group match of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 today at the Central Broward Park Stadium in Lauderhill, Florida.

However, the T20 World Cup matches at this venue are under the looming threat of rain.

Yesterday's clash between India and Canada was also affected by adverse weather conditions in the state.

Due to heavy rain on Friday, no cricket match occurred, leading to both the USA and Ireland receiving one point each. This result propelled the USA to the Super Eight stage of the mega-event tournament from Group A, marking a significant milestone as it is their first World Cup appearance. They join India as the top two teams from their group.

With this outcome, all qualification scenarios in Group A were settled: Ireland’s chances of progressing to the Super Eight ended, while Pakistan also exited the tournament at the group stage.

The weather report for the morning of June 16th suggests that it will be partly sunny and humid, with a temperature of 31°C and a RealFeel of 37°C. In the shade, it will feel slightly cooler at 34°C.

A southeast wind will blow at 9 km/h, with gusts reaching up to 20 km/h. The probability of precipitation stands at 25%, though no measurable precipitation is expected. The humidity level will be quite high at 74%, with a cloud cover of 70%. The dew point is forecasted to be 24°C, and visibility will remain clear at 10 kilometers.

It is worth noting that the Men in Green suffered defeats in their initial two ongoing tournament matches against co-hosts USA and arch-rivals India. Nonetheless, they secured a victory against Canada in their subsequent match.
