The Indian women’s cricket team is set to host West Indies and Ireland in December 2024 and January 2025 for a series of limited-overs matches across different cities, as part of the 2022-2025 Future Tours Programme (FTP). India will first take on West Indies in three T20Is in Navi Mumbai, followed by three ODIs in Vadodara. After the West Indies series, India will host Ireland in January for a three-match ODI series in Rajkot. This will be the first time Ireland’s women’s team will tour India for a bilateral series, with the last meeting between these two sides dating back to 2006.

The T20I matches against West Indies are scheduled for December 15, 17, and 19, followed by ODIs on December 22, 24, and 27. The Ireland ODIs will take place on January 10, 12, and 15, all in Rajkot. Both ODI series are part of the ICC Women’s Championship, making them significant for qualification points.

India’s preparations for the 2025 ODI World Cup, which will be held at home, are already underway. Following a successful 2-1 ODI series win against New Zealand in Ahmedabad, the Indian team is set to travel to Australia for three ODIs in Brisbane and Perth before returning for the series with West Indies and Ireland.

The Indian women’s team last played in Vadodara in 2019 in an ODI series against South Africa, while Rajkot hasn’t hosted a women’s match since 2011. West Indies' last white-ball tour of India was in 2016, where they claimed a 3-0 T20I win but lost the ODI series 0-3.

Historically, Ireland has struggled against India, losing all 12 ODIs they’ve played against them. Their most recent clash came in the 2023 T20 World Cup, where India narrowly won by five runs.
