Cricket West Indies (CWI) has named the squads for their upcoming T20I series against England and Ireland, scheduled from June 6 to 15. The team will play three T20Is against England from June 6–10, followed by three more against Ireland from June 12–15.

The series will mark the start of a new chapter under Shai Hope’s captaincy in the shortest format. Jason Holder returns to the T20I side for the first time since February 2024, while Andre Russell, recovering from an injury picked up during last year’s England series, has been included for the England leg only.

Nicholas Pooran, after an extended IPL stint, requested rest and will miss both series. Test captain Roston Chase will feature in the England matches but will exit the squad early to attend the West Indies Test Camp in Barbados from June 13 to 21, ahead of the three-Test series against Australia.

Brandon King has been granted leave for the Ireland leg. In his place, Keacy Carty comes into the squad, while Jyd Goolie earns his maiden T20I call-up as Chase’s replacement. Goolie impressed during the inaugural West Indies Breakout League and was a key member of the 2016 ICC U19 World Cup squad.

Coaching responsibilities will also shift during the tour. Head coach Daren Sammy, along with Floyd Reifer and Ravi Rampaul, will leave after the England series to begin preparations for the Test assignment. Veteran coach Rayon Griffith will take over for the Ireland series, with Donovan Miller providing support.
