The West Indies women's cricket team secured a dominant nine-wicket victory over Pakistan in the final T20I of the five-match series at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi on Friday.

This win concluded the T20I series 4-1 in favor of the West Indies, following their earlier success in winning the three-match ODI series.

The West Indies swept the first three T20I matches with ease, but Pakistan managed to clinch a win in the fourth T20I, securing an eight-wicket victory. However, Pakistan's hopes of finishing the series on a high note in the final T20I were dashed.

While chasing a target of 135, West Indies encountered an early setback when Sadia Iqbal dismissed Rashada Williams in the fifth over. But after that, Hayley Matthews and Shemaine Campbelle took command of the game.

Matthews and Campbelle established a remarkable partnership of 103 runs. The Pakistani bowlers seemed unable to counter their onslaught. Matthews was dismissed just before the West Indies completed the chase.

Matthews scored 78 off 59 balls, featuring 11 boundaries, while Campbelle contributed 33 runs.

Earlier, Pakistan's top order performed well, with Ayesha Zafar, Sidra Ameen, and Muneeba Ali leading the scoring for their team. Ayesha scored 22 off 16, Sidra contributed 48 off 52, missing out on a half-century by just two runs, and Muneeba added 25 before being clean bowled by Afy Fletcher.

Apart from them, only Rameen Shamim managed to score in double digits with 16 off 11 balls, while the rest of the lineup struggled.

Fletcher claimed three wickets, Qiana Joseph took two, while Aaliyah Alleyne and Matthews each secured one wicket.
