Bangladesh’s innings was held together by Mahmudullah, who struck 62 off 92 balls, his third consecutive ODI fifty. He partnered with Tanzim Hasan for a record eighth-wicket stand of 92, which briefly gave Bangladesh hope. Tanzim contributed a gritty 45 before falling to Roston Chase.
Seales struck early, dismissing Soumya Sarkar, Litton Das, and Mehidy Hasan Miraz to leave Bangladesh reeling at 54 for 3. Gudakesh Motie also impressed, taking 2 for 36, while the rest of the West Indies' bowlers kept the pressure on.
