Cricket West Indies (CWI) is set to host Pakistan for a three-match T20I series, starting August 1 at the Central Broward Regional Park in Lauderhill, Florida.

The West Indies are expected to make just one change from the squad that recently played against Australia in a five-match T20I series, which they lost 5-0. Veteran all-rounder Andre Russell has announced his retirement from international cricket, and he is likely to be replaced by top-order batter Keacy Carty.

Pakistan and West Indies have faced each other 21 times in T20 Internationals. Pakistan have dominated the head-to-head record, winning 15 of those matches. West Indies have managed just three wins, while three games ended without a result.

This series will be Pakistan’s third consecutive T20I series. They recently defeated Bangladesh 3-0 at home in May but lost 2-1 to the same side in Bangladesh earlier this month.

All three T20Is between West Indies and Pakistan will be played at the same venue on August 1, 3, and 4. The matches will begin at 5:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time.

After the T20Is, the tour will move to Trinidad and Tobago for a three-match ODI series. These games will be played at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy on August 8, 10, and 12.

Expected West Indies squad for Pakistan T20Is:

Brandon King, Evan Lewis, Keacy Carty, Rovman Powell, Sherfane Rutherford, Shimron Hetmyer, Jason Holder, Romario Shepherd, Roston Chase, Jewel Andrew, Shai Hope (captain), Akeal Hosein, Alzarri Joseph, Gudakesh Motie, Jediah Blades, Matthew Forde

T20I series schedule (Pakistan Standard time):

  • August 1 (Friday): 1st T20I – 5:00 AM
  • August 3 (Sunday): 2nd T20I – 5:00 AM
  • August 4 (Monday): 3rd T20I – 5:00 AM
