The world's fastest bowler and former Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Akhtar, earlier this year announced that his biopic "Rawalpindi Express" is in the making.
Meanwhile, the face who will play the role of Shoaib Akhtar in the biopic has been revealed, expected to be released on November 16, 2023.
Pakistani singer and actor Umair Jaswal, on his social platforms, announced that he will be playing the role of the legendary fast bowler.
Taking to his social media, Umair wrote, "Super excited to announce this with all of you. I’m honored to play the living legend, Mr. Shoaib Akthar on the big screen in RAWALPINDI EXPRESS."
"With Allah’s blessings may we succeed in our endeavours. We look forward to bringing to you a first of its kind biopic film worthy of worldwide recognition," he said.
