West Indies are all set to fight back against India in the T20I series starting from today in Kolkata.

The Windies, who had a poor run at the T20 World Cup despite high expectations, have done some reconciliation by defeating England 3-2 at home.

Last week, India whitewashed West Indies 3-0 in a one-sided ODI series. The shortest format is most suitable for the West Indies and will be fancying their chances to make a strong statement.

India who is on a six-match winning streak are forced to test new combinations at the top as KL Rahul is injured whereas Kuldeep Yadav will be eyeing his comeback as Washington Sundar has also been ruled out.

Ravi Bishnoi is another option to test out in the spin department for India.

West Indies would be relieved as Kieron Pollard is fit to play and have some strong hard-hitting batters to challenge the Indian bowlers. The bowling department of the Windies would be led by Sheldon Cottrell alongside Odean Smith, Romario Shephard and Jason Holder. While the spin department has Fabian Allen and Hayden Walsh.

Meanwhile, it is still unclear who will open with skipper Rohit Sharma for India due to the absence of injured KL Rahul.

Ishan Kishan, Rishabh Pant and Virat Kohli all are options while Ishan Kishan is the most likely choice.
