Pakistan team received a warm and enthusiastic welcome upon their arrival at the team hotel in Hyderabad, India, ahead of the ICC World Cup 2023.

A report by Press Trust of India (PTI) has disclosed the specifics of Pakistan's dietary arrangements for their nearly two-week stay in Hyderabad.

In a country where beef is not available for all the participating teams, Pakistan has devised a diverse menu to meet their daily protein requirements, relying on chicken, mutton, and fish.

The menu includes delectable options such as succulent grilled lamb chops, rich and flavorful mutton curry, the universally beloved butter chicken, and sumptuous grilled fish to provide the necessary protein boost.

In terms of carbohydrates, the Pakistan team has worked closely with the stadium caterers to ensure their needs are met. Their carbohydrate-rich choices comprise steamed basmati rice, a classic favorite of many, spaghetti prepared in the savory Bolognese sauce and a vegetarian pulao for those seeking a lighter option.

They've also left room for a cheat meal, and what better choice than indulging in the renowned Hyderabadi biryani, which promises to be a delightful treat for the team.

Babar Azam's team is gearing up for their first warm-up match scheduled for September 29th against New Zealand, followed by their final warm-up match against Australia on October 3rd.
