Peshawar’s fortune changed as they shifted to Lahore from Karachi winning four consecutive matches, United on the other side have lost all three previous encounters ever since their skipper Shadab Khan got injured.

Team news for Islamabad is that Shadab Khan will be in action for the important knockout match, the 23-year-old will hold the key with his leadership and all-round performance.

Alex Hales is also back and the addition of Will Jacks will strengthen United batting.

Hassan Ali and Faheem Ashraf's selection will be dependent on the fitness test before the match

Peshawar Zalmi are in dark clouds as their two players Usman Qadir and Ben Cutting are isolated due to Covid-19 while Liam Livingstone returned home due to finger injury.

Sherfane Rutherford left HBL PSL 7 due to personal reasons. Zalmi has only two foreign players available for tonight’s game, Hazratulah Zazai and Benny Howell.

Mohammad Haris for Peshawar has been a great find and has turned the tables for Zalmi ever since he came onto the scene. In four innings, he has scored 154 runs with a best score of 70.

The head-to-head record gives a slight edge to the yellow storm as they won nine matches as compared to eight victories of United.

The Eliminator one will start at 7:30 pm at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The winner of this match will face Lahore Qalandars tomorrow in Qualifier 2.
