Former Pakistan captain, Shahid Afridi, hails Iftikhar Ahmed's sensational knock in third T20I against New Zealand yesterday at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.

Reacting to Iftikhar's brilliant innings, Afridi took to Twitter to express his feelings about the player. 

"You are not chacha for me @IftiAhmed221 you are boom boom but I wish that you had finished the match and make yourselves a memorable inning. Overall well played, it was good cricket over all, the fans enjoyed. Well done @TheRealPCB and thank you for coming @BLACKCAPS to Pakistan," he said.

The former captain has been a big supporter of the Pakistan team in recent times and was clearly overjoyed with Iftikhar's performance.

New Zealand after winning the toss decided to bat first and scored 163 runs after losing five wickets. Skipper Tom Latham, was leading from the front as he scored 49-ball 60 runs including seven fours and two sixes. Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf picked up two wickets in their spell alongside Shadab Khan who claimed one wicket.

In reply, Pakistan was losing wickets quickly and were bowled out for 159 runs in the final innings. The Men in Green are currently ahead in the series with a margin of 2-1. The fourth T20I will be played on Thursday at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
